TUGUEGARAO CITY—The remaining parts of 2Lt. Ernan Gusto, one of the 15 officers killed by the crook bunch Abu Sayyaf in Sulu on Aug. 29, were come back to Alcala town in Cagayan territory on Saturday.

The Army official picked Mindanao over an offer to join the United Nations peacekeeping power, said the fighter's relative Teresita Bartolome who dwells in Alcala's Calantac town.

Zeal's choice to drop the UN work for Mindanao where he was slaughtered in fight "has been harming us a ton," she said.

Charito said she last got notification from her significant other through an instant message a week ago, educating her that he would come back to Cagayan in October to praise their child's birthday.

Zeal went to Alcala in June when he was doled out quickly at the Armed Forces of the Philippines central station in Camp Aguinaldo.

Zeal's coffin was first brought to San Isidro town in Isabela on Friday to be with his folks before it was transported to Alcala where he would be covered.

At Masin town there, the Philippine banner of the Army's seventeenth Infantry Battalion was raised at half-staff.

Lt. Col. Rimbert Baylosis, seventeenth IB leader, said they grieved for Gusto and were prepared to join fighters in Mindanao and reestablish peace there.
