Trillanes to Duterte’s ‘blind, cult’ following: Open your eyes

Congressperson Antonio Trillanes IV on Tuesday engaged "Blind" supporters of President Rodrigo Duterte to open their eyes and not be diverted with their "worshipful admiration" for the President.

Trillanes compared Duterte's devotees to a "faction."

"Things are moving quick. I just might want to engage the general population to open their eyes. How about we not be diverted with worshipful admiration and their visually impaired followership to President Duterte. We ought to be prepared and be careful for any abundances of the misuse of power," the congressperson said in a meeting over meeting over ABS-CBN News Channel's "Headstart."

Asked by stay Karen Davila if Duterte's supporters are visually impaired, Trillanes said: "Yes I trust so. Also, it's a clique taking after much like what Hitler had back in the 30s so it's exceptionally unnerving."
